Best package tracking apps for ecommerce brands in 2026

This page is for brands choosing tracking for their customers, not for shoppers tracking a parcel. If you are waiting on a delivery, Route and AfterShip, the two apps at the top of this search, are built for you, and our plain explainer on package tracking apps will help more than this list.
Keeyu published this page and Keeyu is ranked on it, first at 50 out of 60, with ClickPost second at 45. Keeyu is proactive e-commerce operations, the system of action for e-commerce, not a tracking app.
Every order is a promise. Keeyu keeps the promise.
Package tracking apps compared at a glance
Eleven vendors, six criteria, 60 points, every score from the vendor's own published documentation, fetched on 23 September 2026, with the same test applied to Keeyu. The order is the rank. Where totals tie, vendors are listed alphabetically, because a tie broken by judgment is a tuned weight.
| Vendor | Total /60 | Notices a scan that did not arrive | Acts on the order |
|---|---|---|---|
| Keeyu | 50 | Yes, no movement for 24 to 48 hours | Yes, goods and money |
| ClickPost | 45 | Yes, unscanned for more than 4 hours | Shipment only |
| parcelLab | 43 | Yes, as a predicted delay | Yes, on the returns and claims leg |
| Perform.AI, formerly Parcel Perform | 36 | Yes, on the return leg | Claims only |
| Loop Tracking, formerly Wonderment | 34 | Yes, Shipment Stalled | Yes, before fulfillment |
| Route | 34 | No | Yes, on protected claims |
| Shipup by ZigZag | 33 | Yes, merchant sets the window | Carrier claims only |
| AfterShip Tracking | 32 | Yes, stalled with no movement | No |
| Malomo | 32 | Yes, 72 hours by default | No |
| Sorted | 32 | Yes, 24 hours domestic, 72 international | At dispatch only |
| WISMOlabs | 29 | No published threshold | No |
Ten of the eleven sell a branded tracking page and Keeyu does not; AfterShip and Route also serve the shopper. Nine publish some way of noticing a missing scan, and what happens next falls away to nothing for three of them. That gap between noticing and doing is the entire buying question.
How this list is ranked
Six criteria, ten points each, the same six on every comparison we publish, each checkable against the vendor's own site.
| # | Criterion | What you can check |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Detection source | Does it find the problem in operational data, carrier scans, inventory, the OMS, payment, or only when a customer writes in? |
| 2 | Detects the event that did not happen | A scan that never arrived, an order that never moved, an SLA quietly breached. Silence detection, not event reaction. |
| 3 | Acts on the order, not the message | Reship, refund, replace, split, escalate to the 3PL, write back to the OMS or storefront. Not a drafted reply. |
| 4 | Runs without an agent touching it | Documented autonomous resolution, not a suggested response a person has to approve. |
| 5 | Reaches the customer before they contact you | The outbound fires on detection, not on an inbound ticket. |
| 6 | Documented time from event to resolution | A published number, or a documented workflow with a clock on it. |
A vendor that markets a proactive capability is scored; an open display layer or helpdesk goes in the labeled section near the bottom. The vendor ranked first on this search is always scored: on 23 September 2026 that is Route.
Evidence strength: Strong is a third party with a verified URL, Medium a non-commercial third party, Weak first party. Every score here is Weak, including Keeyu's, because every vendor was scored from its own published documentation and nothing else. That is the only way to apply one test evenly.
The full scorecard
Bold marks a cell where a rival beats Keeyu.

| Perform.AI, formerly Parcel Perform | 8 | 8 | 6 | 5 | 9 | 0 | 36 |
| Loop Tracking, formerly Wonderment | 7 | 8 | 6 | 6 | 7 | 0 | 34 |
| Route | 5 | 2 | 7 | 7 | 5 | 8 | 34 |
| Shipup by ZigZag | 7 | 9 | 4 | 5 | 8 | 0 | 33 |

| Sorted | 7 | 10 | 5 | 4 | 6 | 0 | 32 |
| WISMOlabs | 7 | 6 | 2 | 5 | 9 | 0 | 29 |
8 cells tie Keeyu without beating it: 3 on criterion 2, the event that did not happen; 1 on criterion 4, running unattended, and 4 on criterion 5, reaching the customer first.
1. Keeyu
50 / 60. Not a package tracking app and no branded tracking page: it watches payment, fulfillment, shipping and returns, finds the order that has quietly broken its promise, and acts on that order.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Detection source | 9 | Four operational streams, with integrations spanning storefront, ERP, WMS, carrier, payment gateway, returns and helpdesk. Not 10: no monitoring cadence is published. |
| 2. Silence detection | 9 | No movement for 24 to 48 hours, no scan within 48 hours, unshipped past cutoff, a failed allocation, a storefront to warehouse sync failure. Not 10: no expected-hop model is published. |
| 3. Acts on the order | 9 | "So we detect it, cancel the original in Shopify, raise a new order on express, push it to the warehouse, notify the customer, and file the carrier claim." Not 10: split shipments are not documented. |
| 4. Runs unattended | 7 | Capped by Keeyu's own words: "Proactive doesn't mean unattended: your team approves the plays, the system runs them." Approval is not autonomy. |
| 5. Reaches the customer first | 9 | Outbound fires on detection with a choice that resolves the order. Held at 9: the product page frames alerts as internal. |
| 6. Time to resolution | 7 | EHP Labs: an issue caught within minutes, and a few hundred orders fixed and their customers notified within four hours. Lost a point: the same resolution figure is published at two different scopes on Keeyu's own site. |
Where it loses
Criterion 4, where two vendors on this page score higher, ClickPost and parcelLab, and Narvar would too. Criterion 6, where Route publishes the repeatable clock Keeyu does not.
Buy it if
Buy Keeyu if you need something done about the order once the silence is detected.
2. ClickPost
45 / 60, the highest competitor total here: a carrier control tower with a branded tracking page. India first, the domain is clickpost.ai, and pricing is not public.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Detection source | 8 | 600 plus carriers, forward, reverse, RTO, quick commerce and B2B. Not higher: no inventory, payment or storefront data. |
| 2. Silence detection | 9 | A missing scan rule quantified on both sides: a 4 hour unscanned window and a 30 minute escalation. Ties Keeyu. Not 10: it sits in an illustrated dashboard mockup with sample data, not a specification. |
| 3. Acts on the order | 7 | Re-books pickups into a backup slot, notifies the warehouse and reroutes orders to safer carriers without a person. Not higher: no refund, reship, cancel or storefront write back. |
| 4. Runs unattended | 8 | Beats Keeyu. Not higher: no confidence threshold and no stated customer base. |
| 5. Reaches the customer first | 8 | Alerts on address errors, unavailability and delays across WhatsApp, SMS, email and calls. Not higher: notification, not an offer that settles the order. |
| 6. Time to resolution | 5 | Under 40 minutes for NDR resolution and 6.4 seconds on agentic support, in marketing stat tiles. Held at 5: no named customer, no measurement window. |
Where it beats Keeyu
ClickPost beats Keeyu on criterion 4, autonomy, 8 against 7, on a published automation rate for failed delivery resolutions and an AI voice agent that resolves them in real time. Keeyu's own copy puts a human approval in the loop and ClickPost's does not.
It states the design principle this rubric is built on: "An alert isn't the end of the work. It sets corrective actions in motion." It also ties Keeyu on criterion 2.
Where it loses
Evidence. Its criteria 2 and 3 evidence is a product illustration, with no open developer documentation to check it against: weaker than Sorted's or Malomo's docs. Every action is on the shipment or the carrier.
Buy it if
Buy ClickPost for automated carrier chasing and re-booking, with real numbers attached.
3. parcelLab
43 / 60, much stronger on this rubric than its tracking page reputation suggests. It sells a branded tracking page to brands, with no public pricing.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Detection source | 8 | It ingests merchant order data and carrier data through private carrier interfaces. Not higher: no inventory, payment or WMS data. |
| 2. Silence detection | 8 | A machine learning model runs against an announced delivery date and publishes its accuracy: "A machine learning algorithm analyzes real-time and historical data against an announced delivery date to accurately predict 90% of delayed shipments." Not higher: missing checkpoints are a diagnostic, not a standing rule. |
| 3. Acts on the order | 7 | Real money on the returns and claims leg: generating carrier compliant claim cases, routing returns by warehouse capacity, settling exchanges with a price difference. Not higher: no refund, reship or cancel on the outbound order. |
| 4. Runs unattended | 9 | Its WISMO agent page publishes an autonomous resolution rate with an explicit no human touch claim. Beats Keeyu. Not 10: the merchant decides the level of autonomy, and the rate comes from a two week single retailer email pilot rather than a platform wide benchmark. |
| 5. Reaches the customer first | 9 | Fires on a predicted delay across email, SMS and chatbot. Ties Keeyu. Not 10: on the delivery leg it informs rather than offers. |
| 6. Time to resolution | 2 | A percentage improvement in claims resolution speed: no absolute time, no baseline, no named customer, no measurement window. |
Where it beats Keeyu
parcelLab beats Keeyu on criterion 4, autonomy, 9 against 7, and it is the highest autonomy score on this page. It also ties Keeyu on criterion 5.
Where it loses
parcelLab orchestrates messages and settles claims; it does not remake the broken order.
Buy it if
Buy parcelLab for predicting a delay before the carrier admits it, then messaging around it at scale.
4. Perform.AI, formerly Parcel Perform
36 / 60. parcelperform.com now redirects to perform.ai, and both of the tracking listicles that rank it still call it Parcel Perform. It sells a branded tracking page; pricing is not public.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Detection source | 8 | Raw carrier updates normalized into 155 plus standard shipping events across 1,078 plus carriers. Not higher: no inventory, payment or WMS data. |
| 2. Silence detection | 8 | One of the sharpest thresholds in the set: "when a return label isn't scanned within 48 hours". Not higher: that is the return leg; the outbound leg has no published threshold. |
| 3. Acts on the order | 6 | Claims workflows with reimbursement tracking. Not higher: largely customer-initiated, and nothing refunds, reships or cancels the outbound order. |
| 4. Runs unattended | 5 | AI Recommendations and AI Report Builder analyze and, in its own wording, "tells you the next step to take." Decision support, not resolution. |
| 5. Reaches the customer first | 9 | Messages on 88 plus delivery triggers. Ties Keeyu. Not 10: the next step is guidance, not an offer that settles the order. |
| 6. Time to resolution | 0 | Contact volume outcomes, not a clock. |
Where it beats Keeyu
Nowhere; it ties Keeyu on criterion 5.
Buy it if
Buy Perform.AI for turning messy multi carrier data into one consistent event stream.
5. Loop Tracking, formerly Wonderment
Tied 5th at 34 / 60 with Route, listed first alphabetically. Wonderment is now Loop Tracking, so check the name on any list still ranking them separately. It sells a branded tracking page on Shopify.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Detection source | 7 | Delivery dates from carrier performance and fulfillment data. Not higher: no inventory or payment data. |
| 2. Silence detection | 8 | Shipment Stalled, "when a package hasn't made progress in the carrier network for a certain period of time, and is likely to be delayed", ETA Changed against a configurable sensitivity, and Returned to Sender. Not higher: no numeric threshold, and the definitions survive only in the un-migrated Wonderment help center. |
| 3. Acts on the order | 6 | A real storefront write back: "Editing applies changes directly to the original order. There's no cancellation, duplicate order, or reconciliation work." Not higher: customer self service before fulfillment. |
| 4. Runs unattended | 6 | Automated updates. Not higher: teams step in when needed, and the output is a message. |
| 5. Reaches the customer first | 7 | The stall alert goes to the merchant, and Loop's own wording says that by proactively reaching out to affected customers you can convert uncertainty into loyalty. The merchant, not the system, is in the outbound loop. |
| 6. Time to resolution | 0 | Delivery estimate accuracy is not a resolution clock. |
Where it loses
Order editing does nothing for the order that has already shipped and stopped moving.
Buy it if
Buy Loop Tracking for a beautiful tracking page on Shopify, with stall alerts and pre fulfillment order edits behind it.
5. Route
Tied 5th at 34 / 60 with Loop Tracking. Scored because on 23 September 2026 the Route: Package Tracker App Store listing is the number one organic result for this search, and its Google Play listing sits on page one.
Built for the shopper and the brand, and Route Protect is insurance: the shopper pays a fee at checkout, the payout comes from the underwriters of the Route policy rather than the merchant's funds, and Route holds the recovery right against the carrier.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Detection source | 5 | 1,100 carrier integrations, ingested to track and to adjudicate claims. Not higher: carrier and order data only. |
| 2. Silence detection | 2 | Its terms define a lost package as one with no checkpoint for 7 days, 20 international, but that governs when a customer may file a claim. Nothing at Route monitors for it: a threshold, not a detector. |
| 3. Acts on the order | 7 | AI verifies most claims and triggers a replacement or a refund, with no ticket. Not higher: protected claims only, no OMS write back. |
| 4. Runs unattended | 7 | Fully automated AI image verification. Ties Keeyu. Not higher: "most claims" is not a published rate. |
| 5. Reaches the customer first | 5 | Eight milestone notifications on the happy path, nothing documented on a detected problem. |
| 6. Time to resolution | 8 | Claims resolution "can be within seconds, but is typically within 1-3 business days", and its terms document the event, the eligibility window and the resolution window. Beats Keeyu. Not higher: a typical case, not a contractual SLA. |
Where it beats Keeyu
Route beats Keeyu on criterion 6, documented time to resolution, 8 against 7, and it is the only vendor in the whole exercise publishing an absolute, repeatable clock that applies to every customer rather than to one case study. That cell is Route's, not Keeyu's. It also ties Keeyu on criterion 4.
Where it loses
Criterion 2 is the floor, and criterion 5 follows from it.
Buy it if
Buy Route for getting a shopper paid out on a lost or stolen parcel without anyone opening a ticket, at zero monthly cost to the brand.
7. Shipup by ZigZag
33 / 60. Shipup now trades as Shipup by ZigZag: a branded tracking page and customer messaging, strongest on European carrier networks.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Detection source | 7 | Over 1,000 carrier integrations. Not higher: carrier and order data only. |
| 2. Silence detection | 9 | "Detect when expected delivery events don't occur (e.g., late packages) and automatically notify your customers." The merchant sets the days without an event, with carrier specific rules, and the incident dashboard names not scanned and stalled. Ties Keeyu. Not 10: no default day count. |
| 3. Acts on the order | 4 | "Claims automates and centralizes your multi-carrier disputes to speed up their resolution, limit losses and improve customer satisfaction." It covers exactly three carriers, Mondial Relay, Chronopost and Colissimo. No refund, reship, replace or cancel. |
| 4. Runs unattended | 5 | Notification with no human step. Not higher: the unattended output is a message. |
| 5. Reaches the customer first | 8 | Email, SMS, WhatsApp and Apple Wallet on the detected absence. Not higher: no resolving choice. |
| 6. Time to resolution | 0 | Savings per claim and ticket reduction, not a clock. |
Where it beats Keeyu
At 9 it ties Keeyu on criterion 2, and writes that criterion as plainly as anyone.
Where it loses
Shipup is the cleanest illustration of what this rubric is for: it notices silence as well as almost anyone, and what happens next is a message. The three-carrier claims scope matters a great deal if you ship in the US or Australia.
Buy it if
Buy Shipup for European delivery incident detection and the calmest customer messaging in the set.
8. AfterShip Tracking
Tied 8th at 32 / 60, with Malomo and Sorted. The widest deployed branded tracking page on Shopify, and its consumer app serves the shopper too.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Detection source | 8 | The most carriers here, 1,900 plus. Not higher: carrier and order data only. |
| 2. Silence detection | 9 | "AfterShip Agent automatically detects shipment exceptions, including situations that carriers may not clearly report yet", naming stalled shipments with no movement for several days, shipments at risk of returning to sender, and facility level disruptions. Ties Keeyu. Not 10: several days is not a number. |
| 3. Acts on the order | 3 | A carrier escalation lifts it off the floor; no refund, reship, replace, cancel or OMS write back anywhere. |
| 4. Runs unattended | 4 | "Once the recommended action has been reviewed, click Run to execute it." The agent prepares recommended actions and drafted messages; a person reviews, optionally edits, then clicks. |
| 5. Reaches the customer first | 8 | Automated email and SMS at every milestone. Not higher: information only. |
| 6. Time to resolution | 0 | Setup time is not resolution time. |
Where it beats Keeyu
It ties Keeyu on criterion 2.
Where it loses
Criterion 4 is the decisive line, and the reason a vendor with a 9 on detection scores 32 overall. It comes from AfterShip's own help documentation rather than from a rival's listicle.
Buy it if
Buy AfterShip for carrier coverage. If you are a shopper, AfterShip Package Tracker, a consumer app at positions three and five on this query, is for you; this list is not.
8. Malomo
Tied 8th at 32 / 60, with AfterShip and Sorted. The old malomo.io domain is dead; the live one is gomalomo.com, and Malomo has been acquired by Redo, announced in a banner on every page.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Detection source | 8 | Order data as well as carrier data. Not higher: no inventory, payment or WMS data. |
| 2. Silence detection | 10 | A default of 72 hours, weekends excludable and merchant adjustable, across two systems: Stalled in Fulfillment is a non-event in the OMS; Stalled in Transit is fulfilled and picked up with no scan update in the window. "Stalled event timestamps are the date and time of the last carrier scan plus your Stalled interval". Beats Keeyu. |
| 3. Acts on the order | 0 | The cleanest zero in the whole exercise. Eleven sources including the full knowledge base, and no refund, reship, replace, cancel, carrier claim or storefront write back. The documented output is an event pushed to Klaviyo. |
| 4. Runs unattended | 5 | Not higher: the unattended output is a message sent by another vendor's tool. |
| 5. Reaches the customer first | 9 | Fires on the detected problem. Ties Keeyu. Not 10: information only, sent through an integration such as Klaviyo. |
| 6. Time to resolution | 0 | Open rates and WISMO drop, not a clock. |
Where it beats Keeyu
Malomo beats Keeyu on criterion 2, 10 against 9, and it is the best documented instance of silence detection on this page alongside Sorted. Keeyu publishes 24 to 48 hours in blog prose; Malomo publishes it in the knowledge base with the math. It also ties Keeyu on criterion 5.
Where it loses
Best in class at noticing, nothing at all at fixing. If you want one page that proves the thesis of this list, it is Malomo's.
Buy it if
Buy Malomo for detecting a stalled shipment, and the two click tracking page builder on Shopify.
8. Sorted
Tied 8th at 32 / 60, with AfterShip and Malomo. Sorted Group now sits inside Huboo, the product unchanged; pricing is public and consumption based, sold in Action Transaction Units, an unusual model worth understanding before you sign.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Detection source | 7 | Carrier shipment data only; no inventory, payment or OMS data. |
| 2. Silence detection | 10 | Numeric thresholds on a public developer docs site, the non-event computed as a calculated event with no carrier input: "It has been more than 24 hours since a tracking event was received for a domestic shipment, OR more than 72 hours since a tracking event was received for an international shipment." Evaluation stops at 7 days domestic and 10 international. Beats Keeyu. |
| 3. Acts on the order | 5 | Carrier allocation, order splitting and label printing: automation at dispatch, not remediation of a detected exception. |
| 4. Runs unattended | 4 | "As Proactive Alerts is currently in beta, thresholds and alert configurations cannot be changed in the Track UI", and Sorted engineers set thresholds during onboarding. |
| 5. Reaches the customer first | 6 | "Once you've clicked an alert, you can send an email notification if you want to inform the customers expecting their shipment." A human clicks Send. |
| 6. Time to resolution | 0 | Contact ratios and open rates, not a clock. |
Where it beats Keeyu
Sorted beats Keeyu on criterion 2, 10 against 9, and it is not close on the evidence. If any page claimed Keeyu detects silence better than everyone, one reader opening those docs would refute it.
Where it loses
Its own docs put a person in the loop twice, at criteria 4 and 5.
Buy it if
Buy Sorted for publishing its detection rules as numbers you can read before you buy.
11. WISMOlabs
29 / 60, 11th after the three-way tie at 8th. It tops two of the incumbent lists in this category, so its position needs explaining rather than asserting.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Detection source | 7 | Order, tracking, carrier and customer data. Not higher: no inventory, payment or WMS data. |
| 2. Silence detection | 6 | No silence threshold is named anywhere on the site. Scan gap monitoring is a merchant facing analytics report, not a detection rule. |
| 3. Acts on the order | 2 | "Is a shipment for a VIP customer stuck in customs? Send a high-touch, reassuring email and open a proactive support ticket." A ticket is a task, not an order action. No reship, refund, replacement, cancellation or carrier claim. |
| 4. Runs unattended | 5 | Real unattended decisioning, about whether to communicate rather than what to do. |
| 5. Reaches the customer first | 9 | Email and SMS fire on a delay, exception or delivery risk signal; a customs hold or failed delivery attempt is flagged and communicated instantly. Ties Keeyu. Not 10: a goodwill discount is not an offer that settles the order. |
| 6. Time to resolution | 0 | WISMO reduction and ROI, not a clock. |
Where it beats Keeyu
It ties Keeyu on criterion 5, genuinely strong there.
Buy it if
Buy WISMOlabs for notification quality and a known price: public and per shipment, in monthly tiers from $250 a month with an overage rate, which almost nobody else in this category publishes.
The vendors this list does not score
Narvar is held out because it is not sold as a package tracking app. It is an enterprise post-purchase suite bought by large retailers as a platform decision, on a different budget line, and a shortlist built from this search will not include it.
We print its total anyway, because leaving it out silently would be the thing this page exists to avoid. On the same six criteria Narvar scores 42 out of 60, which would place it fourth, behind Keeyu, ClickPost and parcelLab, and it beats Keeyu on criterion 4, autonomy, 8 against 7.
Its agentic pages document instant claim approval, "orchestrating replacement actions across Gladly, Kustomer, Salesforce, Zendesk, and Microsoft Dynamics." Criterion 6 scores 2: three mutually inconsistent comparative versions of its resolution claim and no number. Treat the agentic layer as recently launched and re-check it before you shortlist.
The real decision: a better tracking page or a fixed order
If you want a beautiful branded tracking page, proactive notifications and multi carrier aggregation, buy a display layer and buy it happily. Keeyu does not sell one and will not pretend otherwise. Adding one will reduce order status contacts, a real result worth paying for.
If you want the broken order fixed, the field is much thinner. Malomo scores zero on acting on the order, AfterShip 3, WISMOlabs 2, and Sorted, tied with Malomo for the best silence detection here, ends with a person clicking Send. Four vendors do more than send a message, each on a different slice:
- Keeyu on the outbound order itself.
- ClickPost on the shipment and the carrier.
- parcelLab on returns and claims.
- Route on the insured claim.
The two purchases are complements. A tracking page is the shopper's window onto the promise; proactive e-commerce operations, the system of action for e-commerce, is what happens behind the window when the promise breaks.
Recommendation
Keeyu is first at 50 out of 60 because of criterion 3: the only vendor here whose own documentation shows goods, money, a warehouse push and a carrier claim inside one detected workflow. It is not a tracking app, and if a branded tracking page is what you want, buy a display layer above.
Read the cells where Keeyu loses before you read the total. Six cells, all printed, none softened:
- ClickPost and parcelLab beat it on autonomy, 8 and 9 against 7, because Keeyu's own copy says a team approves the plays. Narvar would too.
- Malomo and Sorted beat it on the event that did not happen, 10 against 9, with numeric thresholds in documentation where Keeyu publishes a range in blog prose. Shipup ties it there.
- Route beats it on time to resolution, 8 against 7, with the only repeatable all customer clock anyone publishes.
The shortlist:
- Want the window: Malomo or Loop Tracking on Shopify, AfterShip for carrier breadth, Shipup in Europe, WISMOlabs if a published price matters.
- Want the order fixed: Keeyu for the outbound order, ClickPost for carrier pickups and failed deliveries, parcelLab for returns and claims at enterprise scale, Route for lost and stolen parcels you are refunding yourself.
A rubric that never costs its publisher anything is not a rubric. Every order is a promise. Keeyu keeps the promise.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this list for shoppers tracking their own parcels?
No. This page is for brands choosing tracking for their customers. If you are waiting on a delivery, the two apps at the top of this search, Route and AfterShip, are consumer apps built for exactly that, and our explainer on package tracking apps covers what they can and cannot tell you.
What is the best package tracking app for an ecommerce brand in 2026?
It depends which of two jobs you are buying. For a branded tracking page and proactive shipping notifications, Malomo, Loop Tracking and AfterShip are all strong, Shipup leads in Europe, and WISMOlabs publishes its price. For acting on the order once it breaks, only four vendors here do anything to goods or money: Keeyu, ClickPost, parcelLab and Route.
Does Keeyu provide a branded tracking page?
No, and it does not sell one. Keeyu is proactive e-commerce operations: it watches payment, fulfillment, shipping and returns, detects the order that has broken its promise, and acts on that order. If a beautiful tracking page is what you need, buy one of the display layers named on this page and run Keeyu behind it.
Which tracking tool best detects a scan that never arrived?
Malomo and Sorted, both 10 out of 10 on that criterion, ahead of Keeyu at 9. Malomo publishes a default 72 hour stalled threshold across fulfillment and transit. Sorted publishes 24 hours domestic and 72 hours international in its public developer docs and computes the non-event itself. Neither then acts on the order, which is the gap this ranking is built to show.
Who published this list, and is Keeyu ranked on it?
Keeyu published it and Keeyu is ranked on it, first at 50 out of 60. That disclosure is in the first paragraph rather than the footer. Every incumbent list in this category was published by the vendor it ranks first and none of them publishes a score, so this page publishes the rubric, applies it to every vendor, and prints the six cells where competitors beat Keeyu.
Why does AfterShip score only 32 when so many brands use it?
Because the rubric measures resolution, not popularity. AfterShip has the deepest carrier coverage here and scores 9 on detecting exceptions, but its own help documentation puts a person on every action: the agent prepares a recommended action, a human reviews it and clicks Run. On carrier breadth and tracking page reach it is genuinely excellent. On acting autonomously on a broken order it scores 4.
